We hope this message finds you well. We appreciate your ongoing patience and trust as we work through the progress of the land assembly project in Maple Ridge. Our team remains committed to keeping you fully informed, and we are pleased to provide you with the latest updates.

At this time, the City of Maple Ridge is still working on the Official Community Plan (OCP) amendment. This amendment is a key step in the development process, as it establishes the framework needed for the project to move forward. Unfortunately, this process has taken longer than expected, and it remains the primary reason we have not yet received an offer for the site. Delays like this can occur in land assembly projects due to the complexity of municipal planning, and we are closely monitoring the situation to ensure we stay on top of any developments.

On a positive note, we have two developers who have expressed keen interest in the site. These are experienced professionals with a strong history in similar projects. However, they are awaiting the new fee structure, which will be finalized through the OCP amendment, to complete a proper pro-forma analysis. This financial assessment is critical for them to evaluate the site’s potential and prepare their offers.

To keep the momentum going, our team is conducting weekly follow-ups with both the interested developers. We are dedicated to pushing the project forward and will notify you as soon as we have significant updates, such as the completion of the OCP amendment or the submission of offers.

We understand that this delay may feel frustrating, and we want to reassure you that it is a normal part of the process. The interest from two developers is an encouraging sign, and we are optimistic that once the city finalizes the amendment, we will be well-positioned to secure a strong offer for the site.
